Qualifications and Experience
I first performed with my local village society in 1977 at the age of 16. I continued to perform annually with the society until I went to college. I started performing again in 1984 upon qualifying.
In 1987, I joined the Glantawe Theatre Company in Ystradgynlais and now remain their longest-serving active member. I recently directed my self-written pantomime, *Jack and the Beanstalk*. I have also performed with various companies in South Wales, playing such roles as Henry Higgins in *My Fair Lady*, Emile in *South Pacific*, Tevye in *Fiddler on the Roof*, and many more.
As a member of Glantawe, I have been greatly involved with the Youth Section, including directing them in my own play, *Respect*, which was highly praised in an adult One-Act Play Competition. I have directed well over 50 productions with Glantawe, winning District and Regional NODA Acting and Production awards.
I am a fluent Welsh speaker and have achieved success in the National Eisteddfod, winning Best Director awards and highly commended acting reviews.
I have also worked professionally, appearing in *Pobol y Cwm*, *Casualty*, *Food for Ravens*, and the movie *House of America*. I have also toured in 5 pantomimes with Rainbow Valley Productions.
I am a previous Chairman of the Drama Association of Wales.
