AETF - English Final

Now well into its eighth decade, the AETF is one of the most prestigious amateur drama events in the country. A unique, 6-month long competition for one-act plays, it provides an opportunity for amateur groups across England to derive positive energy from both the fellowship of competition and the analysis of their performances by professional drama adjudicators.

The English Final, its flagship event, sees the four Area Champions compete for the title of 2019 English Champions under the gaze of our distinguished adjudicator, Jennifer Scott-Reid GoDA.

Norden Farm is built on the site of an old Dairy Farm and features two original, listed buildings; a Georgian Farm- house and an 18th Century Long Barn.

The plan to have an arts centre in Maidenhead had been a long held dream and Maidenhead Arts was set up in 1978 as an umbrella organisation of local arts groups committed to this vision - many schemes later, and with the help of Lottery Funding, Norden Farm Centre for the Arts was built.
